Just wanted to reply to your post, my son went from a very slim trim athletic build to gaining approx 50-60 lbs in about 3 months on zyprexa. I really feel like the zyprexa changed his entire metabolism even though he has been off of it for some time, his entire life for years he was a very lean thin child. he is still somewhat overweight...

But His pdoc put him on amantadine after reading a recent study on it. and just an FYI he has lost 30lbs, anywhere from 5-15 a month. He is doing great and also is starting to look like his own self. he is on abilify as well, the pdoc said it would help with some of abilifys side effects as well.
