hello there, chemist here...this is another one of those multivariable deals....on the whole, i would say 2 weeks to get the steady-state levels hitting the right receptors and keep the gears turning is a reasonable number. if you mix it up with booze, other meds, then you throw it out of whack. once you get to the right dose, your body will adjust, and (we've heard it/said it before) ``we are all different.'' klonopin is a slow, smooth ride compared to, say, ativan or the related xanax, which are jolts. you might find that a cup of coffee is needed some days and not others, but give it some time to settle in. i think 2 weeks ought to put you right: please advise if you find differently, and ask your doctor, as well.....all the best, chemist
