I had not read that literature you're referring to. However, like I said in my previous post, I had actually been taking 100mg of Prozac which was actually 20mg more than the recommended max dose of 80mg. This leads me to believe that my body required a higher dose then the usual recommended max dosages. In fact, I will probably have to increase my Lex to 40mg soon as I can already feel my unipolar depression (no mania) creeping back ever so slowly. I used to take Prozac, Remeron, Wellbutrin, Lamictal and Lithium at the same time until I decided that after 10 years of SSRI's, SSNI's and TCA's that I try something totally new like Nardil, an old AD, MAOI, which have fallen out of favor with pdoc's due to the newer, supposedly less side effects, more effective arrival of Prozac, Zoloft, Paxil, etc.

> Thanks for your so prompt reply.Concerning the "literature" regarding the efficiency of low doses Lexapro, aren't you surprised that you have had to increase up to 30mg/day(the literature talking about...10mg/day?!being at least so efficient as 40mg Celexa). Is your dx BP2 or UP depression? don't you take any Mood S.?
