Postural hypotension is a pretty reliable indicator of dosage. One of my doctors considered a 10% drop in blood pressure upon rising from a chair to be expected once you reach a therapeutic level. It's pretty hard to take too much Parnate. You can titrated it up to dosages in excess of 60mg if you tolerate the side effects. Some possible indicators of taking a higher dosage than is optimal might be hyperreflexia and myoclonic jerks. I'd like to see what other people have to say about this.
