60mg of Lexapro Tremors and Palpatations?

Posted by BRC on August 9, 2004, at 18:05:41

Hi, my pdoc upped my Lexapro up to 60mg several weeks ago. I have been taking it about two years now for depression, OCD, and generalized anxiety.

I have noticed that when I physically exert myself I have bad tremors. For isntance the past couple of days I have been doing yard work and when I set down to rest my hands tremble very bad. Also when I lay back in the recliner or lay down on the couch or bed I feel my heart pounding badly--kind of scares me. I check my pulse and it is normal and my blood pressure also is normal. I guess they are palpations. I can take one of my Klonopin and they subside after a while.

So, is the tremor and awareness of heart pounding associaed with the increase of Lexapro. Anyone's comments or questions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
