> I have never taken adderall, but it does make sense to me that it would help social phobia. I know when i was a teen, i had no idea what was wrong with me. But boy i felt way more confident when i was taking "illegal" meth or coke. I stopped because i know it will kill you eventually. But if you have social phobia, being on a benzo, just makes you not get the panic attacks, but it sure doesnt make me walk up to someone and start chatting....
Exactly. My Klonopin removes any trace of anxiety I have and eliminates panic attacks, avoidant behavior, etc, but it's not pro-social. It's just a "mellow drug". Adderall (and of course pure dexamphetamine, dexmethamphetamine, benzphetamine, methylphenidate, magnesium pemoline, modafinil, adrafinil, phentermine, diethylpropion, phendimetrazine, phenmetrazine, mazindol, aminorex (U4Euh), 4-methyl-aminorex, cocaine, etc) has so much potential to give you that added *confidence* and *motivation* that are so essential.
