I guess it varies from person to person in terms of severity and duration, but for me it hasn't been a picnic either. I am on day 12 and I still feel many of the symptoms you are describing. I personally think these drugs are evil. I don't want to denigrate what they have done for other people, but they are terrible for me. I first kicked zyprexa, which sucked, and now I am off Lex. However, there are a few things I have done that have helped alleviate the symptoms. Drink tons of water. I take a multi-vitamin, a b complex, vitamin E, and fish oil. Something that has had a good impact on the headaches and dizziness has been Gingko Biloba. Give these a shot and maybe you will feel a little better. In the meantime, after having done exhaustive research on this, I know this is very common what we are going through and it will pass eventually. You must have faith in that. You can email me at mcpark@socal.rr.com if you want to talk about it. Take care and good luck.
> I have been off for 5 days and I don't choose to be off, it is just that I am a teachers assitstant and don't work thru the summer and can't afford it right now. My period is 5 days late and I feels like it wants to come (cramps in the leg and back) but it isnt. I feel like I have the flu, my body is achy and heavy, I am exahusted during the day and up all night, I am having extremely vivid dreams, and am airheaded, craby, want to be left alone, I want to cry all f the time and feel very hateful. I am so sick of feeling this way and have to go back to work on monday. I am wondering if anyone feels like this or has in the past. I know I could find out if I am preg by a test, but cant afford one right now. Has it messed with anyones period? Thank you for your help. =)
