Hi:
My pdoc. rxed 'XL' version when I told him I started on the 300 mg., three 100 mg. t.i.d., and complained about 'fragmental sleep' after this, 'mass' dosage of WB sr.However, after having read other's experience on 'XL' version, I stuck with 'SR' version. Because, some saying that on 'XL' version, practically 'sleep pattern' more exasperated, that I can not afford due to my dx with Bp II.
Eventually, I went back to the 100 mg. and found it NO cause of tremor. However, this 'mini' dosage also didn't help me on ADD with a bit dep. effect. Afterwards, I switched to the usual dosage, 200 mg. and pretty happy about this 'self-rx' dosage of WB sr. since then. I've been on WB sr since around 2000, along with other meds.
In regard to 'Beta-Blocker,' ... one of my friends who has NO M.I., had on 'Beta-Blocker' (generic form of 'Inderal') and said it worked well on 'tremor' caused by a med. used for the minor-surgery. In my knowledge, this med. is originally designed for 'High Blood Pressure,' then eventually my friend stopped taking it after 'dizziness' upon climbing down from the bed in the morning.
