Lamictal plus acid reflux and nausea

I just went from 100mg to 125mg of Lamictal and can actually burp up acid and feel like my throat is full of it. Can Lamictal cause this? I don't drink anymore but am having flashbacks because it's similiar to the symptoms I had when I was drinking heavily. I'm taking no other meds besides Lamictal.
