hi there malthus....i am a very dedicated wine enthusiast, and i take xanax, luvox, and dexedrine. i can report from several stupid experiements that, as advertised, alcohol and xanax don't mix, unless memory wipe-out is the goal. as for your meds combo, the official word is to avoid alcohol because of increased sedation. let me give you a couple of shots, here: first, my psychiatrist is not an all-or-nothing kind of guy, and has stated that for me, an occasional glass of wine or a beer will not impede my progress or send me off to rehab (i do choose not to drink or use any other licit/illicit substances other than caffeine); second, my *opinion* is that as long as you are not (literally) in the driver's seat, have a full meal on-board, and don't chug your grape juice in a short time, you will wake up none the worse for wear. in short, play it safe, and also mention to your doctor, see what she/he says, it's always good to keep the pros in on your extracurricular activities.....all the best, chemist
