> That IS a funny story! I'm glad you're able to use your sense of humor to find the good part of a potentially scary situation.
I laugh now, but boy was I scared little Ace at the time!!!!
Hey -- you prob. made the right choice in stopping the plane. If you hadn't, you might end up like that lady stranded in Iceland...that would be much worse! :) (Note: To any Icelandic people, I'm not dissing your coutry...it's just so far from mine...a scary long plane ride back...)Thats cool! But yeah, I mean, once I went up in the air, I don't know what I would have done, I felt so scared I probably would have jumped out of my chair and ran to the cockpit! I even feel a little scared thinking of it now!

I never made a plane turn back but I have received solicitations from nearby well-wishers.

I wanted to throttle him and tell him that I'm an engineer and I can explain turbulence better than that.Ha ha!!! You were probably in a better frame of mind to punch him, then describe the technicalities of 'turbulance'!!!!
I also wanted to explain that it was not turbulence, but rather the fear of dying a fiery death, that was disturbing me.

While you're in there, they run fake scenery and stuff outside the "windows", and shake the whole thing now and again for effect. After a certain time, they let you out of the tube, but they've changed the set so that you're now in another act of the play. The longer you're sitting in the tube, the more opportunity they have to change the set, and when they let you out, the more exotic the set has become. They change the clocks, to really mess you up.
