Hello again. I got the following info. from a book I have, written by James J. Rybacki, Pharm. D. Called- The Essential Guide to Prescription Drugs 2004 (great book, very informative).

"The controlled-release form offers a geomatrix technology thay may help minimize adverse events and improve how well patients take this medicine (adherence)."

Note the word "may" though....everyone is different and one person can react entirely differently to the same exact med. that the person next to them is taking in the same form! I had great success years back taking Effexor (NOT the XR form-the XR form of this particular med. made me feel just awful-go figure).

Have a great day.

P.L.
