i use to take the sr version. when i switched to the xl and swore up and down that i didn't get the same affect as with the sr. my doc said it wasn't possible.but i know that i felt better on the sr version. i would feel the effects more when i took the sr version. i chose to listen to my doc when i should've listened to my gut.:(
