Thanks for feedback folks. I think the trouble exercising is caused by the funky blood pressure changes Parnate causes. I seem a little better in the morning so will try to motivate then for biking rather than evening. I'm the same come late afternoon: dead to world, zoned out, almost asleep. I got the same way on Nardil last year. Like clockwork, BP plummets in afternoon and I"m useless.
It's been barely a week at full dose so I'll give it some time, try to adapt. So far this is only nasty Parnate side effect. No massive weight gain (so far) like on Nardil, which happened even with strict, low calorie diet.
If anyone has ideas that work for perking up these afternoon MAOI lulls, please share! Caffeine doesn't make a dent.
