Thanks Emme!

I was hoping for a reply. Thanks for taking the time. I'll bring it up with my pdoc next time. I'm a little frightened to try something new again.

I just had a bad experience with abilify. I read up on the partial dopamine agonism, and I thought it might be the ticket for me. Unfortunately, it did other stuff to me (maybe not related to the dopamine agonism, and more related to the serotonergic effects.) I had really, really, bad anxiety and insomnia.

But I still have an instinct that most of my problems are dopaminergic--For example, when I dip into my "low" two days a week, I clench my teeth involuntarily. Apparently, Mirapex is a treatment for bruxism. So I'm curious if it would help that AS WELL as the depression and apathy.

I, too will take any crumbs of improvement. I feel thankful to be about 85% better, but I still want to be 100%. It's a curse, I think.

I'll keep you posted on it.

How long have you been taking Mirapex? Have you read that it poops out? Any other comments are appreciated.

Thanks again,
Katy
