Racing thoughts? APs can help » mmcconathy

In reply to Luminal or Klonopin and antipsychotic properties?, posted by mmcconathy on September 8, 2004, at 11:29:31

Atypical antipsychotics can very effectively control racing thoughts. If you are in Europe, try amisulpiride or sulpiride at lower doses. However these unique molecules are not available in US, but you can try either zyprexa or seroquel. Benzos are good, but they seldom ease constant worrying. SSRIs are often prescribed, but they take long time to have an effect and initially they can worsen the situation. APs don't do this and the effect is almost instant.
Stelazine 2mg will also be a nice choice.
Cheers
