it means that it enhances serotenergic activity. however, it's not mainly serotonergic, rather it do that as a by product of daily use. i doubt it can cause a serotonin syndrom. i took it with ssri with no problems.

A serotonin syndrom can occur when two drugs that both directly enhance serotenergic transmision, by active mechanism such as Monoamin oxidase inhibitor or by reuptake means.
