forgetfulness

Posted by good times on September 29, 2004, at 3:47:06

I remember when I first took effexor about 2 yrs. ago. I had tried paxil, lexapro, zoloft and of course other SRI's. I could not tolerate the side effects of these SRI's so the Dr. decided to try me on effexor. I felt almost like I had taken a hit of speed, my anxiety level was lower and my outlook in life was better... did cause some insomnia though. However the weirdest side effect was this: I worked as a FedEx courier and I had the same route for about 4 yrs, but when I started on the effexor I was forgetting turns in my routes, missing(forgetting stops....very unlike me). If it wasn't for this forgetfulness I would have definetly continued taking the effexor. Anybody else have this happen to them?
