Questions about HPA axus and Endocrinologist

Posted by iris2 on October 1, 2004, at 11:46:13 [reposted on October 2, 2004, at 2:44:01 | original URL]

I am going to see an endocrinologist next week. I have elevated Prolactin level which I think is caused by Amisulpride. I need to have him evaluate this. It is causing me not to have my period.

I also suffer from severe depression and a lot of immune deseases. I thought it would be prudent to have my cortisol tested but I cannot figure out what specific tests to ask him for. And if the tests do show increased cortisol than I am also unsure as to the treatment.

I would apprecaite any suggestions as to what to ask him to do.
