It sounds like Parnate was not a good choice for you. However calling it a "sh*tty" drug goes a bit far, don't you think? Espcecially given the number of success stories we've seen posted.
In addition, everyone has to make their own decision about what SE's they will/can tolerate in order to have relief from mood disorders. Each person's threshhold and priorities, and what they can and cannot tolerate are unique. Thus, I see no reason why Parnate cannot be a long term solution if it is working satisfactorily for a person.
