Hello.
I doubt that Pfizer has published the studies they conducted on SA using Lyrica. But back in 2002 it appereared that their internal studies showed effictiveness becuase they talked about appling for the FDA to get it approved for Social Anxiety and GAD. They FDA rejected the GAD approval and I am not sure if Pfized ever submitted it as a treatment for SA.
I think independent studies will be done soon that test its effictiveness for SA.
Does it say anything in the leaflet about tumors?! Pfizer found that Lyrica can cause tumors in mice and this in fact delayed the release, but I am not sure what they done about that since.
