Try dlpa. It is an over the counter supplement that you can easily find online or at a store such as GNC. dlpa stands for dextro,levo-phenylalanine. It is specifically the dextro isomer which has pain-reducing qualities by acting to prevent the breakdown of one of the body's endogenous opiates: enkephalins. Since the enkephalins hang around longer, they promote pain relief and potentiate the actions of exogenous opiates like codeine and morphine. Dlpa is not addictive, and it will not reduce its effectiveness over time, at least this has been true for a month now with me. I too suffer from frequent headaches that were made worse around the time I began taking SSRI's. It's strange, because SSRI's are being used off-label as migraine prophylaxis I believe, so I really don't know if it's the SSRI or not.
Anyway the dlpa, taken at a dose of 1600mg / day totally got rid of my daily headaches for over one month now! It's amazing! And also I've taken pretty high doses of SSRI's including 40mg paxil, 60mg lexapro, and 300mg of zoloft.
