Very well said, I agree completely. I blame the situation entirely on the drug industry and the big manufacturers who would sweep the MAOIs under the rug foreverif they could, because they don't bring much MONEY. Also, the misconceptions and exaggerations about the diet restrictions persist, despite excellent research to the contrary. It's a crying shame, not to mention criminal neglect in my opinion that patients have to bang on doors of who-knows-how-many doctors before they'll find just one who is willing to prescribe an MAOI. I'd better stop my rant right here; I'm sure we're on the same wavelength.
