I am sooo familiar with that problem! If you aren't already doing so, taking all of your dose at bedtime will help somewhat. Also, if you just started taking lithium recently, some of the cog sfx do fade with time (not all unfortunately). If your dose is fairly high... you might want to talk to your doc about backing it down some. Lower doses work well for depression, the higher ones never seemed to obtain much significant improvement for me.. 450-600mg pretty much was the top of the AD response I ever got from it. As far as add ons go.... you might consider a little Keppra. I definitely got an attentiveness boost from it, but unfortunately it made me pretty grouchy.
