I have been off Klonopin for a week, two weeks, and up to 2 1/2 months in my 3 years of use. I have restarted without decreased effectiveness. After the longest break, it took about 2 weeks for full efects to be realized and drowsiness to wane - that was true for when I initially started. I did not require an increase dose from the top of my range of dosing.
