I quit cold turkey from 75 mgs........
but...I'm starting to feel better, I take the fluoxetine once in a while now, and I feel much better than I did when I was on effexor and risperdal........ except sometimes its very hard to sleep at night, I keep thinking of too much stuff because I've never felt so good......I've been talking to all my friends and stuff and above all I have been happy, and all my friends have noticed it.....once in a while I'll drink, or take benzo's recreationally here and there.It was like taking all those pills I forgot who I really was anymore...... now I almost feel like the same person I did a few years ago before I started getting depressed. Which was a happy fun out going person.
I'd like to thank Psychobabble, Dr. Bob this whole site which really helped me, with the fluoxetine, which helped and fortunate the doctor new about giving fluoxetine for effexor withdrawals if the patient (me) refused to take effexor again to taper it. And to thank www.erowid.com that opened my eyes, because it was erowid that I first read the experiences of having withdrawals and I was like hell with that. so I just quit and http://www.panic-anxiety.com/panic_attack_symptoms/panic-attack-symptoms.htm that taught me how to relax my neck so I didni't freak out because my jaw was screwed up from excession muscle tension and numbed head
