Don't worry, if you haven't tried anything yet there's plenty of hope. First, the eye blinking may not even be a long term side-effect and it might not be TD or dystonia. If it is either, there are loads of things you can try. Search the web, you'll find stuff on vitamin treatments and supplements for TD. They have been studied ( B6, and E, even melatonin ). Medication-wise dystonia can be treated with anticholinergics, and if the vitamins and supplements aren't enough, dopamine depleting drugs ( I think ) have been used. Of course, anticholinergenics and dopamine depleting medication come with their own side-effects. They'll slow you down but they'll alleviate the problems. I'd try the vitamins first.
I'm 22 and I've been shaboogindined. I don't know how long it's ever going to take to get better. I'm still waiting and trying to stay positive. I have no idea what's wrong, and the doctor's haven't helped so far, besides telling me to give it time.
