> Ive been taking ADD meds for a long time now, now I'm on Adderal XR. Anyway For the past couple years i've been diagnosed with social anxiety disorder as well as BP2...im on lamictal 100mg daily, not sure if its helping yet, and a high dose of xanax xr 3x daily.
> As for the adderall, I had been on quite a high dose for around a month:60mg of XR in the AM, 30mg of XR at noon, and 20mg of short acting at 5pm. For a while it seemed to really help with making me more happy, outgoing, and social. But recently I noticed I was even more anxious than before, and a bit more depressed...I am testing this by lowering my adderall doses, and i think its helping alleviate the anxiety, but im not sure yet.

Sure is possible and the tight facial muscles you describe is a common SE of D Amphetamine, Bruxism-is as well-grinding of teeth. Try lowering, instead of discontinuing the 110mgs of Adderall you take-If you can, I know how the demanding Dopamine system can be-when I was on methylphenidate It initially made me more social, energetic, then after some time I became intreverted, lazier and didn't want to go out and explore-the exact same effect as on Rats, althought I understand D-Amphetamine has oppisite Pro-social effects. Supplement with L-Tyrosine in the mornine too, to replenish Dopamine
Give It a try and see if its the Adderall, or did these probs start when you added the Lamictal? I know this Med can cause Anxiety in some people
