are all "anxiety disorders" adrenalin related?i was under the impression that the more bodily related ones (adrenalin) were treated with beta blockers whereas the more psychological ones (just over-firing of the ... amygdala or hippocampus or something ?) were to be treated with GABA-B agonists like benzos (or other psychiatric drugs like SSRIs etc) ?
if it is indeed an adrenal-related problem, i am wondering
a. is there a way to measure adrenalin levels?
b. are there any long term effects i should be trying to prevent?
c. are there any drugs/herbs that can compensate for high adrenalin or it's effects on other hormones, organs, etc etc?
