I had eye issues before meds. Multiple vision horizontally shifted seperated everything into two with one or more echos. Each eye still is seeing two under certain light conditions, vision exercises corrected the seperation which both eyes together caused.
Double vision increased for me in the beginning of a trial with Lamictal, and corrected after about two months.
Effexor changed my visual comprehension, the most when I tapered off very slowly. I perceived several gaps per minute lasting a second or two making sort of a strobe like effect. That lasted about 4 weeks and was extremely aggravating.
I think it would be good to not enforce anything which throws alignment off. When shifting direction of focus do it slowly giving time to adjust. Blinking helps break the tendency of each eye to emancipate this way.
