It doesn't necessarily mean that you are either. I've known of people who were given Trileptal as an adjunct treatment for unipolar depression, when their antidepressant needed a little boost.

150 mgs is nothing. You probably wouldn't have experienced anything but placebo at that dose. Typically, doses of 900 mgs to 2400 mgs are required for mood disorders/personality disorders.

It is a first-line treatment for Borderline Personality Disorder, that much I know, and has been a lifesaver for me.
