I am currently on Parnate and have been since December 2002. I have been on dose as high as 120 but usually I take anywhere from 80- 100 mg. But the past three month my depression has worsened. I didn't want to admit it because I knew I had nothing left to try.
I have been on Nardil before but only for a short time. It was far too sedating for me and I couldn't function. I am hoping the Adderall will counteract that this time.
It's reassuring to know that it can get me out of this suicidal depresssion I am in. Because there is only so long one can stay in this state.
Thanks again for your reassurance.

The same is true of Nardil - perhaps more so. It can definitely treat the worst of depressions. It's a good sign that you were responsive to Parnate. What is your reason for not returning to it?
