I don't have any great suggestions for you unless you can get a prescription for clonidine. It's used (among other things) for opiate withdrawl.

May I ask how much the Buprenorphine helped your depression? Was it immediate? dosing? side effects? I ask because my doctor is letting me do some trials on opiates for my treatment resistant depression. Buprenorphine has been brought up - so it would be interesting to hear from someone who has actually used it.
