I would suggest that you actually wait a bit longer."Actually, Parnate leaves the body within hours of taking it. The influence it has in the body, however lasts for very much longer. The brief exposure to Parnate irreversibly blocks and effectively destroys every MAO enzyme it binds to. After several weeks of therapy, there is only about 10-20% of the body's enzyme left. After you stop taking the Parnate, it takes a number of days for the body to manufacture enough new enzyme to bring it back up to 100%. 14 days is a conservative period of waiting and should be appropriate of almost everyone.
