Can Cymbalta be taken with Webutrin?
I switched from Welbutrin XL 300mg and Zoloft 150 mg to Cymbalta 60 mg about 10 weeks ago. I wanted to try this new drug because the Zoloft & WB started to be less effective (this always happens with all the meds I've been on).
It didn't do any good. I'm not any worse (well, maybe a bit), but I have gained some weight and my cravings for carbohydrates are VERY hard to control and my energy level has really decreased. The Welbutrin controled the weight, the cravings, and it gave me a bit more energy.
My diagnosis is major depression. I've had it all my life and I've been on mdes for over 15 years (I'm 37). Nothing ever really works, meaning; I don't ever feel GREAT. The meds just do enough to keep me going on daily basis. Lately though, I haven't even felt good...
It seems that every year, I just feel worse...What I would like to know is if I can take Welbutrin in addition to the Cymbalta; what dosage and which type?
Thanks for any suggestions,
Ania
