I really don't think thats true in all cases. I've been on xanax, ativan, valium, and klonopin. I never abused the short-acting benzos, I usually made the pdoc mad cause I wouldn't take higher doses. I like my 2x daily dose of valium. It does the trick for me. Klonopin made me feel stupid. Fondly, Phillipa
