Adding clomipramine to doxepin?

I'm currently taking 25 mg. of doxepin for anxiety. I'm considering switching over to clomipramine or staying at 25 mg. of doxepin and adding in clomipramine. Is there any reason why these two shouldn't be combined? It may just be temporary while I make the switch but I don't want to have to go off of the doxepin completely in order to switch because my anxiety is too severe. Thanks.
