A couple years ago I was on amisulpride/zyprexa combination with good results and no problems other than sexual side effects from amisulpride.
Just browsing around, I've seen clinical studies at pubmed.com where two antipsychotics have been combined to treat resistent or residual symptoms. I think most physicians and most people would probably shy away from the idea. It's just that there aren't a whole lot of studies or documentation on all the possible combinations, so you are kind of on your own do to some pioneering.
In my experience, just about any drug combination can be tried, but caution in starting with very low doses is a wise way to go, at least until you get a feel for it in terms of side effects or adverse effects.
