Hi Fred,
Sorry to hear that the L-Tyrosine isn't helping in terms of energy. That's a drag :-( I have added Enada NADH to my regime, and it seems to alleviate fatigue and increase energy and alertness. I take anywhere from 5 - 10mg 4 or 5 times a week. I have also added Acetyl L-Carnitine and DMAE (I have read that DMAE can help with depression-related apathy and lack of motivation), and am pretty sure that they have been providing some benefit in the areas of energy, focus and motivation. It really is trial and error with natural supplements, but if I were you, I would probably give NADH (make sure it is Enada) and even some DMAE a try. Also, I don't know if you are taking a B-Complex supplement and extra B-12. If not, you might want to add B complex 50mg to 100mg and perhaps 1,000 or 2,000mcgs of B-12.
All the best to you Fred. Hope you can find some natural supplements that help.
Take good care,
Tamara
> Has anyone any tips? Life's a great struggle against the constant leaden tiredness. I don't feel depressed initially, although it all gets depressing eventually. I thought years of taking Celexa might be the reason and I supplemented with L-Tyrosine, which seemed to work for a bit, but it might have been a placebo effect. BTW is Tyrosine going to have the same effect as L-Tyrosine? Thanks everyone
