Well..I don't consider Dx to have much weight....I just believe in unconventional treatments (sometimes). But I am BP2 Rapid Cycler, one who remains more in the depression side of things. My insomnia is a sign I can't "shut off" what I need to, so I a going to ask doc to replace Nortriptyline with amitrptyline, which gives me a good sleep. Ritalin PRN is just like using benzos prn...when you get those 'days' you need the extra push...it's there and it works. No different than the benzos. Besides, Ritalin doesn't build up to 'theraputic' levels in your blood.
So, for tonight, until I can see my doctor, my Dad has lended me some Doxepin, and I will cut out my Nortriptyline. I've had some very difficult things in my life to deal with this week, so insomnia doesn't help.
Best,
Jay

But, it seems I tolerate high doses of meds...I just don't think he wants to be responible if anything happens. ****Plus****, how many doc's let you make up a formula like that?

I have been tested for diabetes...and no I don't have it...and don't WANT to have it thanks to Zyprexa. The 1mg of Risperdone is *nothing*. I feel I should be on 4-5mg's.
