Banga is right. Your doctor is a moron to think that Seroquel is enough. You need to try a mood stabiliser like Depakote or Lithium. You need to get on something ASAP because otherwise you will eventually crash on your own and it won't be fun.
They won't commit you. They will find a med that will help you feel and stay in control.
I really think you should go. I've been where you are. It's not fun. Go before someone has to force you ... then it's really not fun.
