Hi,
Wellbutrin was not effective for me personally (for depression) mainly because I really need an SSRI (Lexapro has been the best so far for me) because I have mainly Seasonal Affective Depression & SSRI's are supposed to be the best AD's for this type of depression.
I got on Wellbutrin SR and then later XL last last fall because I thought Zoloft was making me gain weight and giving me stomach discomfort. I think Wellbutrin is quite weight neutral, but some people have claimed they lost a bit of weight while on it--I did not, but have while on Lexapro--go figure! Everyone's mileage varies, as they say...
Good luck with giving it a try!!> Pdoc just starated me on wellbutrin. Just wanted to know any experiences on its efect on depression. does it make you tired, fat etc..
