I was put on Wellbutrin during a stay at the hospital for my OCD...that after having no success with Anafranil, Effexor, Lexapro, Paxil, and Zoloft. I wound up meeting with a different doctor than the one that had recommended I try Wellbutrin, and he couldn't figure out why I was on it. So basically I've never heard of patients with OCD having success with Wellbutrin...but then again, everyone reacts differently to these meds. I would stick with the serotonergic antidepressants and a LOW dose of an atypical antipsychotic if warranted.
