That's what I was curious about. According to the study listed below(click link), people with generalized social phobia may have low D2 receptor binding potential in the striatum. Since sertindole blocks D2 receptors preferentially in the limbic system instead of the striatum, perhaps it would be somewhat helpful for social anxiety? I wish I could give it a trial.
