Since you are doing good on 150 mg, do you think you should hold off the planned increase to 300 for the time being?
> Hey all...
> I'm writing this cuz I've just had a pretty amazing breakthrough with my meds... For starters, I have dealt with severe depression and anxiety e.g.(Can't leave the house, many suicide attempts; many almost successful) ever since I was 13 (now 28). I've tried many drugs over the years and only ever had success with Nardil (had to stop after a year because of completely outrageous side-effects.) I have tried Wellbutrin on 4 separate occasions, and I was never able to take it for more than a couple of days because I felt like I was having the worst anxiety of my life. This time around I decided to try again because I hate the SSRI "mind numbing" and sexual SE. Again I had bad anxiety, but decided to stick it out...After 4 days, the agitation went away. Now, 2 weeks later... I am more relaxed than I was on Paxil or Nardil, but I have a lot of energy and motivation that I never had on any other med except adderall (whole other story)... On the SSRIs, I was a content zombie and I didn't have much to say because my mind was constipated! I think the WB helps my mind clear and relieves the anxiety at the same time! I can actually conversate with people now! I'm still only on 150mg XL/day going to 300/day in a week... I know everyone is different, but maybe some of you could benefit from WB if you can stick out the 1st 4 or 5 days...
