Hi Ed,

I took both and Prozac was much better.
Zoloft/Lustral had a bit of unnatural anxious feeling. It was not that bad,but prozac (along with Effexor) was the only SSRis that I felt my body accepted them and felt semi- normal.
However, when I take a SSri, I always take something else, either to counter act the SE or to boost the effect.I always felt that SSRi's are not enough. That is why they were combined with benzos or low-dose TCA/Trazodone...etc.
This is how I rate SSRis :
1- Prozac : the best out of them.it is somehoe "atypical" .
2- Cipram : OK but a bit sedating and very apathetic.
3- Lustral/Zoloft : OK but a little to the anxious.
4- Luvox/Faverin : Actually very good,but I never gave it a fair chance.
5- Seroxat/Paxil : one of the worst ever!!

- As far as apathy, they all have this bad effect, and in my experience reducing the dose or adding a very low dose of Flupenthixol (0.5mg) or Amisulpirirde(50mg) helps a little, but I never stayed on them for more than few days because of the fear of the worst ever side effect in the world : Akathisia.

Best regards,Ed.
Darkhorse.
