I was lucky enough to stumble on this discussion thread, which has helped me more than anything else. I was on Cymbalta before and that is how I felt. Like I was on speed, my skin and body would get hot, I was sweating, really racey, talking a mile a minute. I was tired all day at work and then wide awake when I would get home. I was thinking about switching to taking my pills at night, but I wasn't sure how the Effexor XR would be different from the cymbalta.
