My pdoc gave me the same advice, 25mg in 1 week increments. The PI says 25mg for 2 weeks but after your on 50mg 2 weeks, jump to 50mg increments.
I actually took 25mg every 2 weeks all the way to 100mg the first time I tried Lamictal because I was scared. If I were to take it again, I would go up 25mg every week.
