> Jay,
> I totally understand what you are talking about. Are you exercising and watching your sugar content? Splenda is a great substitute that you could use that comes in most foods (protein bars for a snack for instance). I totally crave sugar all the time but combat it by eating splenda sweetened desserts! Exercising should help the weight get down, but you have to stick with it!
> moggerHey mogger..thanx for the concern. I have just started trying to get some good cardio exercise...starting at only 20 minutes of a pretty rapid speeding treadmill. That really get's the heart rate up and I sweat quite hard. I do it daily, but my doctor told me to do the increases very slowly. He was mostly concerned about a heart attack if I ramp up too fast.
I don't know what I am going to do about the antipsychotics...I've stopped the Zyprexa, but still need the Seroquel to put me to sleep. I check my blood sugar 3 or so times a day, so if no improvement in a few days, we may look at alternate meds. I will post my update!
Thanx, and take care,
Jay
