I think what I'm going to do is keep on with Celexa but lower it to 10mg one day and 5mg the next for a week. Then maybe 5 mg per day for a week. At that point I'll be to June 30 which is my first appt with my new pdoc. That way I'll have a head start on a taper. Then I'll tell him what I've taken, what results I've had, what I've been feeling like on the Celexa and how I feel after having lowered it. I'll tell him what supplements I'm taking. And I'll sit back and see what he suggests. But I'll have my list of possibilities in my pocket. If anything he suggests jives with what I've been thinking, I'll know we're on the right wave length. My possibilities are: 1.stay on Celexa, add Lamictal. 2.Stop Celexa, switch to tricyclic, probably imipramine. 3. Switch to Lexapro (don't really like this one). 4. Stop ADs, go with supplements. 5. Try Nardil. (not in any particular order of preference.)
But I'm going to wait and just see what he says without any prompting from me. That way if we both arrive at some particular conclusion independently, I'll feel really good about it.Marsha
